Emmerich, 9 June 2020 – The demand for vegan foods is on the rise. In Germany alone, around 1.3 million people follow a vegan diet. And the number is increasing steadily. In acknowledgement and support of this trend, the animal rights organisation PETA recently announced the winners of its second Vegan Food Award. Alongside assessing the vegan products themselves, PETA also focused on the overall attitude of the brand or company towards sustainability and animal-friendly practices.
